Momentum and Discipleship Pastor

I am so excited to be serving at Momentum. In this role, I am privileged to be a resource for college students and community members as we grow in faith together. I believe we all grow in faith throughout our lives and that God forms us as we play, study, worship, serve, and pray together. At Momentum, we do a bit of all of these things! My hope is that Momentum is a safe place to connect in Christian community, a place to ask tough questions, and a place to belong.
I am an ordained Deacon in The United Methodist Church. I received a BA in Philosophy/Religion from Truman and a Master of Divinity Degree with a from the Divinity School at Duke University. Following graduation from Duke, I lived in the mountains of Western North Carolina, serving as Minister of Christian Education at Jefferson UMC in Jefferson, NC for three years before returning to Missouri and serving in the St. Louis area.
When I’m not spending time with the students of Momentum, I enjoy running, curling up with a good book, and spending time with my cat Ozzie. I also love meeting new friends over a good cup of coffee or lunch in the SUB.
